It’s Technology That’s There to Help You.
*If vehicle is stopped for more than three seconds, driver must intervene and press “RES” button or accelerator pedal to resume system operation.
This technology can help you stay on track with driver-assist technologies to potentially avoid collisions using BLIS? (Blind Spot Information System)* with Cross-Traffic Alert**.
*Available BLIS? (Blind Spot Information System) uses radar located in the rear of the vehicle to identify a vehicle entering the blind spot and alerts the driver with an indicator light in the sideview mirror. Cross-traffic alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind when slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway. If it detects a vehicle approaching from the side, it sends an audible warning, an indicator light flashes in the side-view mirror, and an alert in the message center.
**The Lane Keeping System can warn the driver if it detects the vehicle leaving its lane without the turn signal activated. The Lane Keeping System consists of two components, the Lane Keeping Alert and the Lane Keeping Aid.
